I can…
- use peer-revision strategies to improve a draft
- finalize elements of a narrative in a final draft
- edit for spelling, capitalization and punctuation
Write your name at the top of the handout. You are the "Author".
Rules for Peer-Editing:
1. In your small groups, exchange papers at least once.
2. Focus on what can be a little better. What can make a narrative element stronger?
3. Read through the entire story before picking up your pencil/pen.
4. Don't just answer a question - give advice on how to improve the story.
5. Point to the part of the story that needs more with an arrow and an explanation.
6. It is ok to write on the draft!
Tonight: Prepare your FINAL DRAFT. The final draft is due by the end of the period tomorrow.
