Opening:
1. Review RAFT and Voice.
a. In your group discuss the meanings.
b. Write a description of each part and be prepared to discuss it.
c. Discuss it whole group.
Work Period:
2. Individually read Embedded Assessment 1 on pg. 251.
a. Highlight and make notes.
b. Add to what you previously marked up.
3. Revisit your previous letters and see how you used RAFT and Voice in them.
A. Look at activities 3.13, 3.15, 3.6
- If you are missing any of these review and complete them as homework.
B. Highlight where you believe you were successful in using Voice.
C. Make notes about the highlighted parts that explain why it worked.
D. Underline the parts of RAFT in your letters and explain each part.
Closing:
