Reminder: Next Week you need every book you've read into your annotated bibliography (up to 6!).  

Opening:
1. Review Homework Together
  • Mark the text by highlighting what each character thinks of the other.
  • Use the "My Notes" area to describe how each character feels about the other.
2. If you finished last night I'll sign your new "Independent Reading Log #7" for reading and marking the entire text.

3. Quickwrite:  Complete following sentence about how each character feels about the other - 

Bryce __________ Juli, but Juli ______________ Bryce.

4. On page 113, read the instructions, then look at the 1st Model on the graphic organizer.

Work Period:

5. What evidence did you find that matches the conflicting viewpoint:
"Bryce is trying to break away from Juli when his hand accidentally gets tangled up with hers, but Juli thinks Bryce holds her hand on purpose and had even intended to kiss her"?

6. In your small group, find a THIRD conflicting viewpoint about an event in the narrative.

7. Share aloud.

8. Examine the "Story Starter Writing Prompt" on page 114.  What is your task?

Due Thursday: 
1. Finish 114 is finished.  
2. Complete the Quickwrite at the top of page 115 and read the instructions below so you are ready for Thursday's class.
