Reminders:

Assessment due Monday: 

• Annotated Bibliographies due Monday (4 = 70, 5 = 80, 6 = 90)
• "My Growing Vocabulary" and "Book Log" also should be up to date (10%)

Assignments due Monday:

• 24+ "Notes on Reading" 
• Independent Reading Log #26
• Class Journal

Opening:

1. Small group discussions about the poem "New Moon"

Use the text to discuss:

• Why is the poem titled "New Moon"?
• What is the author's tone?

2.     Turn in your Embedded Assessment 1          .

Work Period:
3.     If you have not finished your final drafts, continue working.

4.     Once you have finished, work on your Annotated Bibliographies due on Monday.

a.     Remember you must have 6 entries by Monday.

  5.     Work on your notes on reading. Make sure you have 24 entries by Monday.

  6.     Silent read for your Reading Log (#26 due Monday).

Closing:

  7.     You will turn in whatever you have, whether you are finished or not.

  8.     You will have:

a.     2 Final Draft letters.

b.     1 Revised Reflection

c.     All prewritings and rough drafts.
