- Paragraph 1: underline or highlight all of the things the narrator says he is good at.
- What point of view is the story told in?
- Which camera perspective would you film this in?
- Paragraphs 2-9: Aloud and in parts - underline or highlight what Walter does to get into trouble.
- Identify the parallel structure in paragraph 9.
- Identify the adverbs in paragraph 5, 8, and 9.
- Paragraphs 10-16: Silently - underline what Walter does to get into trouble.
- Write down a few of things and WHY he does them in the "My Notes" section.
- Mark the adverbs in 11, 12 and 14.
- Paragraphs 17-23: Aloud - underline two things that show Mrs. Conway has changed her mind about Walter.
